The Lion Within

Enlarge image ↗A man and a lion meet within a single face. Warm earth tones and gold draw skin, fur and flowing hair into one composition, while their steady gaze gives the portrait a shared presence.
The image invites us to consider how instinct lives alongside thought, and how courage takes shape through experience. The lion can suggest the resolve to protect what matters, the patience to endure uncertainty, or the confidence to stand by a deeply held conviction.
The human half brings its own depth: a life shaped by feeling, vulnerability and choice. Together, the two faces suggest a strength that grows through understanding these qualities in ourselves.
The Lion Within asks what we recognise when we look inward—and how we choose to carry that knowledge into the world.

Each artwork has one A3 edition of sixty prints in total. Every available paper option counts towards the same sixty, with a single numbering sequence from 1/60 to 60/60.
Certificate of authenticity included with every print. It confirms the artist, artwork title, A3 size, paper and individual edition number.
Any future A4 or A2 editions would be separately declared. They are not currently offered as part of this A3 edition.
